Bueno, hoy me desperté chequeando mi Instagram y vi un video de una locutora que conozco y respeto muchísimo que se llama 'Honey German. Ella trabaja en la emisora HOT105.1 en New York City. Bueno, el post era un video de su experiencia sobreviviendo, y recuperándose de un derrame cerebral.
Si estas en 'birth control' o estas pensando dejar que tus hijas están tomando anticonceptivas, deberías saber los riesgos.

Strokes aren’t just for older people or those with health issues. I suffered one in Summer 2020 ⛅️🧠🩸🦽 My underlying condition: being a woman. I was healthy, young, active, strong...but I trusted my GYN when she told me to go on birth control pills for the first time in my life. Yes the pill almost killed me.
While I handled ICU, brain surgery, living in rehab and months of daily PT workouts in social media silence. I’m now sharing:
1) so that women know that having a stroke is a “RISK” we take when calmly swallowing the pill but we’re not all aware or properly warned of this.
2) And to let you know that no matter what you’re going through with faith, positive thinking, discipline and determination you can walk out of that bad situation a better version of you. I tried it out for us and can assure you that it works.
Sorry for my absence in some areas but I was busy fighting for my life and learning how to walk again🦿🦿blessed and thankful that my cognitive, speech and life were all spared.
GOD has BIG plans for me 🤍🤲🏽☁️ I’m much better now and ready to not just work but also to serve my life purpose which surely involves helping others ❤️🌍🫂
